Description TOS's THE GHOST OF CHRISTMAS EVE - now available for the first time on VHS and DVD - is a unique fantasy trip through the magic of Christmas. Narrated by award-winning actor Ossie Davis, the production takes us on a journey of a runaway little girl's decision to return to her family after she enters a rundown theater for shelter and encounters an old caretaker who guides her on her journey. This magical story - which features appearances from Atlantic recording artists Jewel and Michael Crawford - was filmed entirely on location at the newly refurbished and historic Loews Jersey Theatre in Jersey City, New Jersey, and includes performances of such tracks as "O Come All Ye Faithful," "Good King Joy," "Christmas Canon," "Music Box Blues," "Promises To Keep," and "This Christmas Day,". Track Listing: O' Come All Ye Faithful/O Holy Night Good King Joy Hark! The Herald Angels Sing -- Featuring Jewel Christmas Eve (Sarajevo 12/24) Christmas Canon O Holy Night -- Featuring Michael Crawford Music Box Blues Promises To Keep This Christmas Day First Snow

Trans-Christmas October 11, 2008 Wendy Barrett (Pennsylvania) I had seen this on PBS and decided to buy it. I really enjoy the music and like the artists that they have singing some of the songs.
Wonderful combination of classical & heavy metal! March 18, 2008 S. S. Simmons (Northeastern Michigan) We ordered this video after seeing TSO in concert around Christmas of '06. We now watch the video every holiday season & never tire of it. What a talented group of musicians!
What a wonderful story February 16, 2008 Barbara A. Hauser (Milford, PA USA) The story is beautiful and the music throughout along with the artists are fantastic....everyone who sees is is amazed.....anything the Trans- Siberian Orchestra does amazes me.....they are one of a kind and my Christmas begins with their wonderful show....
Wow! Great music January 23, 2008 BBF (Chicago, IL USA) I had seen TSO last Christmas and, since we couldn't make it to this year's concert, I bought this for my sisters and myself for Christmas. It's a wonderful way for us to "share" the concert experience. Ossie Davis was a terrific narrator and the music is wonderful. Crank it up and it was kind of like being there (without the laser light show, of course). I recommend this for anyone who likes Christmas music and rockin' orchestral music.
Artful story with excellent soundtrack January 21, 2008 P. J. Angert (Butler, PA USA) First off, you really can't go wrong with TSO. This is their classic Christmas story that weaves story with other visual elements and songs in a way that is nearly seamless.
