My Jim Reeves 12 Songs of Christmas is great but the cost of shipping and handling was rediculous and as soon as I knew the cost I tried to contact you with no result. To pay $US40.98 ($NZ54.??) for a CD worth under $US7.00 was absurd and I could not email you to change it. I realised later that you had three different handling and freighting charges but was not informed initially. I have already written to you at the your mailing centre in Phoenix asking that you be more considerate to new customers and inform them of the pros and cons of delivery but I have not had the courtesy of a reply. Over $US30.00 for handling and shipping of one small CD is not an option. As a result of my experience many of my friends are having second thoughts in their dealings with Amazon. Members of my family would like to make purchases but are reluctant at this stage. Surely there is some way I could have just sent a simple email instead of a "no contact" message.

My parents and my family members also love the christmas songs of Jim Reeves.
I have heard these Jim Reeves songs from my childhood and it is extremely popular in India.

This is my favorite Chriatmas Cd. I grew up on it and its a must have to continue on our Chriatmas traditions!

It was the early 60's when i got my first "record player" & the holiday selections Santa provided included Elvis....Johnny Cash...Chubby Checker/Bobby Rydell...& stuck somewhere in the middle was this much loved balladeer i had never heard of. The standard holiday tunes are here along with a very entertaining southwestern number (Senior Santa Claus). "An Old Christmas Card" will remind you to cherish what you have now for it will be gone sooner than you realize. I'm glad to say i can remember when country music was more than cry in your beer or MTV grade tecno videos. If you know & appreciate Jim Reeves you will enjoy this music. If you don't but want to remember a simpler time & the joy of Christmas i highly recommend it. His voice has & will continue to withstand the test of time.
