I listen to this CD at Christmas time. I find that much of the music is sublime. The last cut, "Ah, turn me not away...Divine Redeemer" often brings me to tears. I can't even explain it. Just the combination of the words, Sutherland's voice, and the music arrangement squeezes the tears out of me without a specific thought on my part! but they are lovely tears. I don't actually listen to much music like this, so it's possible it's second rate, but I don't care. I'm glad I have the CD and I hope it never wears out.

Lovely CD. Will obtain it somehow. However, I would like to lay my hands on a CD of Kenneth McKellar singing all the lovely songs that are compiled on your CD's. e.g. Panis Angelicus, Angels Guard Thee, etc.Any CD available of this remarkable tenor? Magda Nagel

I acquired this album for the famous Gounod and Schubrert Ave Marias, but discovered so much more. I like especially the Laudate Dominum and Cantique de Jean Racine.
