Bring in your next major celebration with a bang--literally. Crackers are just about the best party diversions there are, next to champagne and those little sausages. Although labeled for the millennium celebration, this set of 10 silver and black crackers will add excitement to any holiday, birthday, or festive gathering. Present them as party favors to guests or to your host, and you'll be immensely appreciated. In case you've never used one, party crackers are decoratively wrapped cardboard cylinders that are filled with pressurized air. They are pulled and twisted at one or both ends (usually by two people) until they make a loud pop that releases the air and issues forth goodies such as candy, party hats, puzzles, or other novelties. As loud as they are, these crackers are perfectly safe. According to the manufacturer, they don't employ gunpowder, and the contents comply with toy safety requirements. --Diane Beall

The Best New Christmas Album in many years November 27, 2002

My wife and I we're introduced to this album in 1999 when we attended a CD release party at Scullers Jazz Club in Boston. We think that is so good that we've given the CD as a gift to many or our family and friends. I would like to challenge anyone out there to tell me of a better new Christmas album. First, the artist, musicians and arrangements are first class. Add to that the mix of songs and you have one great album.
One of My Favorite Holiday CDs! November 25, 2002
I'm fortunate to have seen and heard Ida Zecco perform the songs from this CD in person. Her voice is beautiful; the selections are great and the CD puts you in the holiday spirit. It's on our holiday music short list---which starts the day after Thanksgiving and plays through the New Year. We bought this CD for family and friends last year. You'll really enjoy it!
My most favorate Christmas CD November 25, 2002

Christmas is very important to our family. We have collected a large set of Christmas music from many artists and styles. But there is only one Christmas CD that we listen to one to two times a day from Thanksgiving to almost Easter - that's "A Song for Christmas" by Ida Zecco. It makes you feel your heart ... I think I have listened to this CD 300 to 400 times over the past two years. I am thankful for Ida's gift to all of us.

When I first heard this album, I fell in love with it and ordered copies for family and friends. My favorite track is
Bel Bambino, which is absolutely beautiful--I never tire of listening to it. Ida Zecco's voice is beautiful. I also love the children's voices on Merry Christmas. I recommend this album to all. It is a gem!!
My Favorite Christmas CD November 24, 2002
I absolutely adore this Christmas CD from IDA ZECCO.She has obviously researched holiday songs that I believe will be new to most listeners, as they certainly were to me! her selections of music, orchestrations,and choice of talent are all first rate.I have played this CD continously since I purchasing it and I will be ordering many more as christmas gifts to friends and family. Simply put it is my all time favorite Chrismas CD.
