5 out of 5 stars perfect for the holidays   December 15, 2008
dylan hobbes (NYC, NY USA)
Don't take my word for it...

"For a smaller group jazz-Christmas experience, check this one out. It's smart, goes far enough out that jazz hounds won't be bored, but not enough to scare your jazz-unenlightened relatives". [...], Wayne Bledsoe

"drummer Tobias Gebb is a man afire, and keeps everything afloat". Micheal P Gladstone, All About Jazz

"the listener is awash with a certain romanticism, melodicism, and inventivenss" --George W. Carroll/The Musicians' Ombudsman

"Trio West's CD really got under my skin in a good way". - Joe Montague -Riveting Riffs -

"...creative, cascading jazz stylings. So cool!...beautiful seasonal music..... this instrumental jazz is smokey, simple, and intimate".-Christmas Reviews.com

"The music is quite tender, sweet and inspiring enough to make one wish the holiday season never ended" -Edward Blanco, ejazznews

"If you are making a shopping list for Christmas music, the CD Trio West Plays Holiday Songs, should be on it". Joe Montague - Riveting Riffs

5 out of 5 stars Holiday tunes beautifully reinvented   December 24, 2007
Buterkup (New York City)
What I love about this CD the most is that it's not the same old holiday songs that are played ad naseum in stores, on the radio, or on television. Instead, you'll find new jazz-inspired takes on classic tunes that are not only delightful but which also foster a warm and inviting atmosphere. A standout in the category and one you'll likely listen to all year round.

5 out of 5 stars Trio Best   December 2, 2007
Tis the season (New Jersey USA)
This has become my favorite holiday CD ever, winning its place next to Nat King Cole's on my shelf. If you're tired of all the hokey, overproduced holiday music you have to suffer through during December, put on Trio West and let it permeate the room: a mixture of nostalgia, sophistication, joy and warmth. Thank you, Trio West, for recapturing the holiday spirit!

5 out of 5 stars outstanding holiday album   November 21, 2007
MilesColtrane (New York, NY USA)
if you're like me you love the Vince Guaraldi Peanuts xmas and you're looking for more music like that for the holidays . . . this is it right here - makes a perfect gift as you get to look cool by turning peeps on to a new thing they likely never heard of. HIGHLY reccomended and very tasty..... jazz purists will love it as will your Uncle Fred who knows nothing about jazz. . . .
