Album Description One of our annual best-selling Christmas titles, back again in time to make sure you'll have enough stock on hand for the holidays! This 1994 Canadian-only EP features beloved Irish new age vocalist Enya's cherished take on the classic Chrristmas carol "Silent Night" sung in Gaelic under the title of "Oiche Chiun". Accompanying the gentle melody here are four other essential recordings by this former member of Clannad: the title track to her 1987 debut solo album 'The Celts', plus "Ebudae" from her best-selling 1991 outing 'Shepherd Moons' and the hard to find B-sides "'S Fagaim Mo Bhaile" & "As Baile" (a Gaelic-sung version of the standout track "Exile" from her breakthrough 1988 album 'Watermark'). Comes packaged in a standard jewel case.

Rip off January 12, 2007 J. Grantham (Vidalia, GA) 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
What a rip off. Very little music for the money. Recycled music at that.
One of Enya's Best Singles January 4, 2007 Adam (Cedar Rapids, IA USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I am a HUGE Enya fan, and I felt that with this EP, it was definitely a good buy. The best thing about this CD is it has a couple songs of hers that ARE NOT on any of her albums. So, if you're like myself, you're better off getting this Single to complete your Enya music library.
I wanted to say something clever in Gaelic, but I don't speak Gaelic. December 24, 2006 Johnny Heering (Bethel, CT United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is Enya's Christmas CD. It starts off with a beautiful rendition of "Silent Night" sung in Gaelic. The rest of the CD is also in Gaelic, other than the last track which is an instrumental. These songs are ok, but they don't seem to have anything to do with Christmas.
No Way Enya December 7, 2006 John Estime (FL, USA) 1 out of 5 found this review helpful
Why in the world would I pay 40 bucks for a cd with oly 5 tracks, let alone 4 of those tracks can be found on your other cd's.(And make a real Xmas cd next). And those of you who bought it and complaint afterward, well you're an IDIOT. I still love you Enya.
Go to Itunes a buy Oiche Chiun seperately December 5, 2006 M. james (Chandler, Arizona) 4 out of 7 found this review helpful
Why in the heck is Enya (sorry Enya, I do love all of your other albums) releasing an album with only 5 tracks and, the first two tracks are available for 99 cents each on Itunes. If you really want to hear some modern groups (bands from the 80's & 90's)sing some new renditions of Christmas classics then purchase "A Very Special Christmas: Volume 3" this has the Smashing Pumpkins, No Doubt, Enya (Oiche Chiun), Sting, and Blues Traveler, & many more. Oh, the song is a good song, just not worth the cost of the album so that's why I gave it 3 stars.
