She's been hailed for her multi-octave vocal range--a tool that sometimes detracts from her pop recordings, but actually works quite beautifully in the context of this charming holiday collection. Fans will surely approve of Carey's renditions of slinky secular songs like "Christmas (Baby, Please Come Home)" and a nicely subdued "All I Want for Christmas Is You." But where she really surprises is in her unadorned delivery of a passel of traditional carols, highlighted by "Silent Night" (which she sings quietly, avoiding the temptation to wail those high notes) and "Jesus, Oh What a Wonderful Child." A must for diehards, and a pleasant surprise for the unconverted. --David Sprague

This CD is 38 minutes and 14 seconds long. Overall you get a mixed batch of classical Christmas songs and a few new one like; All I Want for Christmas is You and Miss You Most (At Christmas Time). Like listenning to Mariah. The only thing I did not like about this CD; the last song is way too long. She could of shaved off a minute or two.

This CD is filled with upbeat Christmas songs as only Mariah Carey can sing. I've got lots of Christmas CD's, but this is among my top five.

Mariah Carey's classic Christmas album, released back in 1994. This is album has dated very well. It contains her Christmas classic "All I Want For Christmas Is You", I wait every year to hear it on the radio and very seldom I'll pop it into my stereo to hear it anytime. She has a great voice, and I am glad she decided to record this masterpiece back in 1994. The album debuted at #3 on the Billboard 200 and has sold approx. 5 million copies in the U.S. alone and 16 million copies worldwide.Making it one of the best selling Christmas albums of all time. Other standout tracks include Joy To The World,Santa Clause Is Coming To Town,Silent Night,O Holy Night,and Jesus Born On This Day. Mariah Carey is a great artist, I have always enjoyed her music. Hopefully, she can make another Christmas album one of these days. Keep rockin Mariah!

I absolutely loved this CD, Mariah does a fabulous rendition of Oh Holy Night. It's a must have for any collection.

This is one of the best Christmas albums I've heard. My wife had it on cassette years ago and misplaced it. I tried a couple of places to get it on CD and Amazon was where I found it.....Thanks!
