Description The animation studio behind the Emmy-Award winning Nickelodeon series "The Rugrats" and the Rugrats movies including the latest Rugrats Go Wild from Paramount . . . brings you a holiday tale with an elf named Elvin, who has big dreams of being the next pop music icon. So, he leaves his elf's life behind, changes his name to "Slim Shorty" and sets out on a journey to meet fame and fortune. When he hooks up with a gnome, a dog named Pup, and his girl Jel-O, the music-filled adventure really takes off, but soon Elvin discovers some of the harsh realities of the music business via a sly producer with dollar signs in his eyes. To make matters worse, a mysterious virus up at the North Pole has left Santa bed-ridden with no toys ready to be delivered. Elvin's elfish pride takes over and he leads his "crew" on a wild sleigh ride back to the Pole to save Christmas.

What are you talking about! December 9, 2005 Anonymos 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I don't know what sort of stuff is running through your heads, but movie was awesome!!! And just so ya know, IT WAS RAP!!! It's just people keep calling it pop!!! So burn it through your thick heads that if it was crap like you said it is then network producers wouldn't put it on TV!!!!!!!! And I just realized something... YOU'RE NOT NETWORK PRODUCERS!!!
This makes Teletubbies and Barney look cool. September 5, 2005 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I hate this movie. I hate how they made fun of real singers. (Slim-Shorty/Slim Shady. Jel-O/J-Lo.) I'd rather watch Barney and Teletubbies, 'cause those shows are better than this crud.
Stupid Elvin the elf! Stupid Evilina! Stupid EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS MOVIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! September 4, 2005 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
I just saw this on Cartoon Network a few years ago, and I think IT'S A BIG WASTE OF TIME!!! The story's about a stupid black elf named Elvin, who quits his job so he can be a POP star. ( all the songs sound more like rap music--NOT pop!) And WHY did Tom Tataranowicz (the director) think this was good enough for tv? This is NOT a classic. There was one part when Evilina made medicine for the sick elves that the narrator said "tasted like manure." If you want to watch a GOOD Christmas movie with your kids, try throwing The Night B4 Christmas in the trash, and put Rudolph on!
What the h**l is this? January 5, 2004 lisa papovitch (Irvington, New York United States) 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
I saw this on Cartoon Network over the holidays. I have no idea what these people were thinking. This special is up there with "Frosty Returns". Overall, it's garabge.
