Amazon.com As the daylight lingers longer each day, the more carnivorous folk start salivating in anticipation. Barbecue season approaches, liberating meat lovers from the less-flavorful pan-fried steak or bland poached chicken breasts. Likewise, the vegetarians in the family rejoice in the prospect of grilled summer squash or roasted beets and corn, rather than settling for another head of iceberg lettuce and canned beans. For juicy burgers and veggie kabobs at home or at the lake, industry leader Weber offers their portable Q-100 gas grill. The propane grill employs an 8,500-BTU stainless-steel burner to heat its 189-square-inch cooking area. Weber crafted the grill's lid and body in tough cast aluminum with a sturdy glass-reinforced nylon frame. The grill ignites at the push of a button for reliable lighting, and an infinitely adjustable burner valve with a high-quality regulator makes it easy to control the heat. Meat sizzles on the porcelain-enameled cast-iron cooking grates, while drippings follow the drip ducts to reduce potential flare-ups and enable quicker cleaning. Other highlights include a flavorizer system integrated into the cooking grate, a removable catch pan, and a large weather-resistant lid handle. The grill operates on a standard 14.1- or 16.4-ounce propane cylinder. Propane does not come included, but Weber does enclose a Weber Q cookbook of recipes and inspiration. The grill measures 16 by 27 by 23-1/2 inches with the lid open and carries a five-year limited warranty. --Jessica Reuling

Exceeded my expectations December 19, 2008 Adolfo Ramirez III I really didn't expect much from this grill since I had already been dissapointed with Webers Go Anywhere gas unit. I must say the cast iron grate makes all the difference. Very even heat and excellent grill marks. First thing I cooked on it was a big sirloin and fresh potato wedges and it came out wonderful. I'm mostly a charcoal guy but I bought this becase I'm a grilling fanatic and wanted something for weekday meals when charcoal is too time consuming. I highly recommend this grill you won't be dissapointed. It is very well built and you can fit enough food for about 6 people so don't let the small size fool you. Take a chance and order you will be happy you did. Great portable grill that is going to replace my big grill at home as well.
Good buy but has problems December 17, 2008 Lenka Salih (Danville, PA United States) The grill is compact but somewhat unstable on its feet. Also The part that connects to the to the gas bottle has high defective rate and is very complicated to replace it. (The whole grill must be taken apart) But the customer service was nice even though foreign and somewhat hard to understand. Otherwise it works and does its job nicely. Don't expect smoky flavor, since it works on gas. I thing it is a little over priced.
Great December 16, 2008 S. Perkins This BBQ is much better than our really expensive stainless steel one. The meat cooks evenly and it manages to leave the juices inside the meat.
Best table top grill December 16, 2008 D. J. Jensen (Dubuque, IA) We have owned this grill for a few years and have loved it's ease of use and cleaning. Of course, the best part is that is cooks wonderfully. We camp a lot and use it often. We have used many grills over the years, but none have been of the quality of this grill. We plan on using it for many more years, and know that the one we just bought as a Christmas present for our son will last him many years.
Real Customer Service November 13, 2008 RvTime (Where we Park It!) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I've had the BabyQ for just under two years. Regulator quit working. Called Weber Customer Service after recorded message played I waited about 12 seconds and a real LIVE person was on the line with me and she spoke ENGLISH! Replacement was sent and was received within 7 days. How come some companies get 'customer service' and others don't have a clue? Buy Weber, you can't go wrong.
