Amazon.com Review A floating hinge and two sets of cooking plates turn this multifunctional unit into a contact grill, panini press, large open grill, or griddle. Made of brushed stainless steel, this four-in-one, space-saving appliance offers cooking options that range from pancakes, sausages, and grilled cheese to fish, hamburgers, and panini. Its floating hinge adjusts to the thickness of food, while adjustable temperature controls ensure food is cooked properly. The unit features a sturdy panini-style handle and convenient indicator lights, as well as nonstick grill and griddle plates that are removable, dishwasher-safe, and designed to drain grease away from food for healthier cooking. Two dishwasher-safe drip cups to collect grease are included, plus a dishwasher-safe scraping tool for easy cleanup. The unit measures 13 by 11-1/4 by 6-1/2 inches and carries a limited three-year warranty. --Catie Unger

Griddler Purchase January 7, 2009 D. White (Waverly, NY United States) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Won't be buying as much from Amazon since they decided not to accept Bill-Me-Later anymore. It's REAL disappointing to know that you took away an important avenue of purchasing power on the internet. Do like the griddler though. Great product. Great value. Great service.
Love It! January 6, 2009 Julie A. Kroske I love it. I really enjoy using the grill and griddle at the same time. Comes in handy for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Easy to clean and store
Removable plates are a plus January 3, 2009 ALB (IL) I had a George Foreman years ago and liked having a small grill inside, but hated that I could never get it fully clean at the edges! I received this griddler a couple of years ago for Christmas and still own and use it. THE GOOD Removable plates make it easier to clean overall. Can store in a cabinet to save counter space. Heats up pretty quickly. Can use closed or open. THE BAD When opening, it doesn't always open the top plate all the way, so be prepared to push with a utensil. I thus have to clean dripped grease off the back and out from under the feet. It's pretty light to handle though. Don't let it sit cooling too long--it's harder to get clean in the dishwasher. If you don't mind hand washing, it does pretty well with that method. Overall, it must be pretty good---I'm still using it! We've grilled hamburger, steak, chicken, fish, and vegetables, all with success.
good product January 3, 2009 JEV Well, it's a grill, what can I say. It works very well, and we like it a lot better than the Foreman grill we replaced with this. We've used it in all it's configurations, and it just seems to work really well. Glad we bought it.
