Excellent product! Dont know how this doesnt become the standard for all christmas tree stands. Very quiet, easy to assemble... well made.

5 out of 5 stars Delivers as promised   January 6, 2009

We have a 7 foot artificial tree that is very heavy when decorated. The last rotating stand finally gave out. This was an exact duplicate replacement. The old one lasted for about 11 years. The new one makes a little noise when rotating, but we believe that it is due to the weight of the tree. I looked at many other rotating stands and this one, by far, is the most sturdy. It will give you a good run for the money.

5 out of 5 stars Rotating Artificial Tree Stand   December 28, 2008

Purchased one thru Amazon but had to send it back because the stand was noisy when I turned it on. I purchased another one at a local store and it worked perfectly. The stand it truely amazing. All sides of your tree are able to be seen. Also rotation makes putting on and taking off ornaments easier. Anyone that comes over ends up staring at the tree. It is mesmerizing. I highly recommend.

Just what I was looking for. Seems to be much more sturdy than those that come with a tree.

5 out of 5 stars Amazing Rotating Tree Stand   December 21, 2008
John Deere Fan (Wisconsin)
This has got to be one of the best purchases I have ever made!! The specifications for the stand state a maximum height of 8.5'. I have a 9' tree but I figured what possible difference can 6" make. It handles it perfectly!! The stand rotates at 1 rpm which I think is the perfect speed. What I like is being able to stand on the ladder and put on the garland without having to move myself and the ladder. I just let the branches come to me. The same goes for the ornaments. The tree rotates slowly enough so you have time to hang them carefully. My tree is pre-lit so I can't say how well putting lights on would work with this procedure but I don't see why it wouldn't.

The thing I like best is that it adds an entirely new dimension to the tree. You have ornaments all around the tree instead of only on the side that is facing into the room. The lights appear to twinkle as the tree rotates (they won't with LED style lights) and you see all of the tree from one location. I can't take my eyes off of it. I never seen such a beautiful tree. I had the same tree last year and I thought it was great but the rotating stand makes it 10 times better!!

It's perfectly quiet. I can't hear the motor at all! The stand has an escapement device that releases with a click if the tree were to hang up on something. This is a very nice feature and works quite well too. The stand has 2 outlets that rotate with the tree of course. They must use a slip ring or brush type configuration to keep the power to the outlets as the tree rotates. You may think that the lights might flicker occasionally as the stand rotates but they stay on steadily just as if the tree was plugged directly into the wall. There is a switch box that houses 2 switches and a circuit breaker. They didn't chince on the cord length either! The 2 switches enable you to have the tree lit without rotating, rotating without lights or completely off.

In summary this stand seems to made of quality materials and is very well engineered. The best part is that it is made in the USA!!!!!!! How often do you see that anymore?
