Didn't make it through a single season. The wheel stopped rotating and finally the motor totally stopped working alltogether. When it DID work it didn't throw the light in any kind of focused way, causing lots of glare and light spillage and the colors hardly registered on the tree. Bummer because a decent color wheel is something we'd love to have with our tree.

This light is cheaply made. The bulb burnt out after one night. It easily falls apart. Don't waste our money.

I jumped on the wagon to purchase this light for my new silver tree. When I was looking at it there was only one review. I concur with others that this is a piece of junk for the money plus the high shipping costs. Based on the return policy I am stuck. Way smaller than appearance and very poorly put together. Alot of warnings about fire and radiation??? Typical it is from China...

I really wanted this color wheel to work. I bought the other one from Early Years when I bought my aluminum tree but it is so dim that it doesn't illuminate the tree at all. This one is much brighter, but the construction is so poor that I am afraid to plug it in. The wires inside it are visibly frayed and the electrical socket for the bulb wobbles around in the light bulb housing. It didn't break in shipping -- the packaging was perfect.
Don't buy it.

Ordered color wheel for aluminum xmas tree. Very poor quality. Would not recommend. It repeatedly stalled as it tried to rotate. I doubt the motor could last very long before burning out.
