This thing is solid, not like those lightweight cheap hairdryers that you tend to buy. Powerful too. It'll blow everything off your bathroom counter if you set it down without powering it off. I love it. Feels like one of those $200 hairdryers from the salon.

I recently bought a cheap Conair hair dryer (Model 185) and it had absolutely no power. It was taking way too long to dry my short thick hair. So I splurged on this Sassoon and I'm extremely pleased with my purchase. It's a beautiful hair dryer with a very long cord. It's not too heavy -- just the right weight (and I'm a tiny older woman!) -- and it's also not noisy. So I got exactly the type of hair dryer I wanted. I owned another Sassoon hair dryer for 20 years so, given how well-made the Sassoon dryers are, I probably should have bought this one before buying the Conair. This Sassoon dryer has lots of power. I have thick hair and the Sassoon dried it very fast. I definitely would recommend this hair dryer for anyone who likes to have a lot of power and quick hair-drying.
