Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
It’s Christmastime in Boston, and this year the silver bells will be wedding bells as FBI agent Jules Cassidy ties the knot with the man of his dreams, Hollywood heartthrob Robin Chadwick.

The pair plan a quiet, intimate ceremony, to be witnessed by family and close friends from the FBI, SEAL Team Sixteen, and Troubleshooters, Incorporated, including Sam Starrett and Alyssa Locke. But the holiday season brings more to the happy couple than they expect.

A waterfall coming through their kitchen ceiling, a bat colony in the attic, old family tensions . . . even an international incident can’t dampen their spirits. But add to that a parade of unexpected guests, including a reporter looking for a scoop, an ex-lover hell-bent on causing trouble, and a dangerous stalker, and suddenly the wedding is poised to unravel in chaos.

But nothing will stop Jules and Robin from getting their happy ending, because along with a guest list featuring the most elite counterterrorism force in the world, they have their own secret weapon–true love.

5 out of 5 stars This one is all about LOVE !!!   September 20, 2008
Love 2 Read " I J" (Ca)

No, this book is not about action and bad men.(Well, maybe a little). It's about Jules and Robin and the two of them finally getting what they so wanted. The story was perfect. I love romance books and I read them often, but this love story is unforgetable, rare, and just so beautiful. This story I loved.

2 out of 5 stars Disappointment   August 10, 2008

Another long-time fan, I was also disappointed by this effort. It tried WAY too hard, was a conglomeration of plot points and went on for far too long. And, although I love the author's usual way of completing the arcs and updating us on our favorite characters from stories past, this was forced, much in the manner of a made-for-tv "reunion" movie. Especially disappointing is the audio version of the book; the reader was, in fact, so poor that I Google'd to determine whether nepotism was afoot and he was actually the author's son. Alas, I could not blame his performance on nepotism, so he's just either very inexperienced or inept at creating different characters for those of us in the listening audience.

4 out of 5 stars entertaining but not thrilling.   June 28, 2008

I've read a few of her books. They're usually very exciting to read. This one was a little less because the drama was mostly about very unthreatening situations. Her purpose was to talk about gay marriage and she did a nice job of that.

5 out of 5 stars A beautiful love story   June 17, 2008

It has seemed like it has been forever getting Jules Cassidy and Robin Chadwick together! From the very first time they met the reader wants them to be together. You certainly feel the frustration and the hurt that Jules is feeling. At times you want to shake Robin and scream at him to open his eyes and put down the bottle. You want to comfort Jules and encourage himn to be patient with Robin (which he was). The entire Troubleshooter series, not just this book, is filled with people that are very good friends and support one another. They very quickly become the readers friends. I wish this book had been longer but I'm sure that we faithful readers will see more of Jules and Robin. This isn't just a book about a gay couple, it's a testimony to love and committment. First time readers may want to read Hot Target and Forces of Nature first to truly understand this story but what the heck? Go for it. There's not enough love in this world and life is so short.

4 out of 5 stars Jules and Robin, finally together FOREVER!   May 27, 2008

Jules Cassidy and Robin Chadwick have decided to make the ultimate commitment to each other by getting married. As they plan for their future, they find themselves dealing with: plans for their upcoming wedding; remodeling disasters; dealing with Robin's father's rejection of their lifestyle; dealing with a nosey reporter; and a crazed stalker (who thinks Adam, both Jules and Robin's ex, is an alien from outer space). However, they both soon realize that things probably won't go as planned, but with the love and support of their friends (Team Sixteen and the Troubleshooters), their special day, although not perfect will be worth it. What I loved about this story was we were allowed to see the vulnerable and insecure side of Jules, and experience the difficulties of being a man (Robin)who loves while trying to kick an addiction, and win the respect of all of your lover's friends.

This short novel, which was extremely funny at times, allowed us to visit some old friends from the series: Izzy, Molly, Jones, Dolphina, Max, Gina and scores of others. But we also have the opportunity to see new relationships grow which I think will prove to be key, in the series later. There are babies in the future of Troubleshooter Family, and tons of other stuff that I can't wait to see to develop. I can't wait to read the next one book!
