Product Description James Cameron, a minister who runs a mission in Central America, has decided to spend the holidays in Cape Light. But when his car collides with another car, out-of-towner Leigh Baxter is forced to stay in town until her car is fixed. Before she knows it, the charm of this beautiful seaside hamlet and its citizens have won her over-and she's falling in love with James, who has so generously welcomed her into his life. But will James accept Leigh in his heart once her dark secrets come to light? In the meantime, Jessica and Sam Morgan want a baby of their own this Christmas, but they'll soon discover that life's most precious gifts often come in unexpected packages.

Finally, an uplifting and sweet story July 13, 2008 MaryEllen Rizza This is the 5th book in the series, and all were wonderful to read, each one, perhaps better than the last. This book ended and I couldn't wait to read more about the characters I'd learned to love and respect. The story is well written, giving the reader a feeling of personally knowing the characters. The story moves along with ease.
Excellent May 18, 2008 B. Riley (Covington, GA) I'm very pleased with the condition of Cape Light - A Christmas Promise. I find this an excellent way to purchase books at a very reasonable price. I was skeptical at first, but each of the books I've purchased have been in excellent condition.
Thomas Kinkade books February 5, 2008 J. Messenger (Longview, Tx United States) All of the Cape light series books have been delightful. The characters are true to life. Some you love and some you love to dislike. The books are difficult to put down and when you finish one, you hurry on to the next.
A Christmas Promise December 18, 2007 Sheri Mulcock (North Haledon, NJ United States) It was a great book! Well written. A great read on a comfy sofa by a fireplace.
Another great Kinkade book!!! January 5, 2007 Andrea Makinen (North Pole, Alaska) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Reading 'A Christmas Promise' was another visit to one of my favorite places - Cape Light. Amid old friends and meeting new ones, the fiction novel was a delightful as well as thought-provoking read. Kinkade and Spencer weave a believable story interlinked with Christian beliefs, which combine with the reader's empathy, and give a wholesome and fun message that is very much like the season written about - a wonderful Christmas gift to the reader!
