I purchased this CD because I wanted to start a new Christmas Eve tradition in my home. As the years pass I find myself enjoying less of the hustle and bustle of the Christmas holidays (decorating, gifts, etc.) and wanting to focus more on the reason we celebrate Christmas (the birth of Jesus the Christ). I found that hearing the age old story in this excellent production using Biblical text was a wonderful way to focus on the religious aspect of Christmas. While I own the Word of Promise New Testament, this CD is an easy way to quickly access just the Christmas story.

This is a wonderful audio book, the christmas story with beautiful guitar background, I found this to be very inspiring during the rushing and stress of the holiday season. This is a perfect gift for anyone who needs to slow down and reflect on what Christmas is about, a fabulous Christmas find!

This is a NRKJVersion and is not recommended for Catholics and even tho I am echumenical of religion, this is too far from the original to enjoy.
It is luckily a gift and to someone who is not well versed in the earlier versions or Catholic Bible.

This is another outstanding little audio cd. Not only is it specific to Christ's Birth, but the music accompanyment is outstanding with Phil Keaggy on the guitar. Beautifully performed by the actors and moving, I was yet again blown away by the quality and the price which was literally a steal!
I intend to incorporate this little cd as part of my Christmas celebration this year!!!;-)
