Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Great Way to do Advent as a Family   December 31, 2008
Todd Porter (Shelby Township, MI)
We have never done Advent together as a family and this book was an excellent help to walk us through the different Sunday's of Advent. It also was a great way for us as a family to slow down and focus on the true meaning of the season. There was lots of little extras to help make the season even more special with fun facts and activities.

We highly recommend this book for every family that wants to celebrate Advent or to simply slow things down and focus on Christ.

Sure to become a family tradition...
A Family Advent is a beautiful book that is sure to become a family tradition. What better way to keep Christ in the forefront of your Christmas season than by celebrating the Advent each day? During Advent, we eagerly await the birth of Christ, the coming of the Messiah. Too often, we are caught up in the hustle and bustle of the season and forget why we are celebrating.
A Family Advent takes the reader through the 4 weeks leading up to Christmas. Each week represents a different aspect of the season, Hope, Peace, Love, and Joy. Prayer, scripture readings, and an activity are suggested for each day. The activities are fun and informative. Both adults and children will enjoy them. We no longer have children at home, but my husband and I decided to follow this book together. It has made Christmas more meaningful for both of us. This book is gift quality; why not give one as a gift and keep one for yourself?
