Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
The quiet neighborhood was starting to wake up to what was around them. What started as a tug in their hearts that Christmas became something very magical for them all. Mulberry Lane is a heart warming story of a little pine tree that made a Christmas very special one year. Author Ginny Karoub has captured in Mulberry Lane a reminder of the blessings that could be for us all. A wonderful book to read and share with others again and again! Snowflakes lightly fell without a sound to the neighborhood as if they were blessing what the neighbors were about to do. Over the years Ginnys life experience has taught her that some of the most precious times in life are when we reach past our comfort zone. Every one of us has those moments when we want to reach out to a family member or neighbor but talk ourselves right out of it. She started Mulberry Lane on a snowy winter afternoon after the Christmas Holidays, when all was calm and she could reflect over some of the important things our busy lives forget. She lives in West Michigan with her husband, Scott and family. They have three wonderful children who they enjoy everyday. While she has made staying at home to raise her children a priority, she has enjoyed many adventures outside the home. Writing has been a creative outlet for her that she has truly enjoyed. She is also the author of the childrens illustrated book, Oliver and Arthur.

Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars A Message of Hope & Community   November 27, 2008
Lori Nederveld (Byron Center, Michigan)
On the surface, Mulberry Lane is a simple, heart-warming Christmas story. The author's beautifully written imagery evokes mental pictures, sounds & smells that draw the reader not only into every scene of the story, but also into memories of their own Christmas' past.

Beneath the surface, however, Mulberry Lane carries a much deeper message, one of hope and of the importance of community. One child had the courage and audacity to believe and act on the impossible and a whole community was changed as a result. All it took was one hope to get things started. Enthusiasm is contagious!

The book is a quick read and the perfect size to use as a stocking stuffer. It is a simple book with a power-packed message for young and old alike. Dare to act on your dreams because with faith, anything is possible.

What a beautiful book that brings the family together and shows them that just one person can make such a big difference in a community. Wonderful gift for family and friends.
