Great gift for a bird lover January 8, 2009 Angela Rust (Indiana) I purchased this as a gift for someone and he and I were very pleased with it. All of the birds have one or two calls and the clarity of each call was very good - it sounded just like the actual bird. I think any bird lover would enjoy this product.
Remarkable book in a small package January 4, 2009 Yoga and Yorkies (Miami, Florida USA) This book is fascinating and much easier to carry than the larger format books that I purchased previously. The reference section at the end is especially helpful. If there is a bird you are particularly interested in, the reference section tells you how to listen to longer recordings of the songs of that bird if they are available (for free).
Awesome! December 14, 2008 Denise TN (TN) I have always wondered what bird was singing while out in the backyard - and now I have something to help me. This book is great! The bird singing is so realistic that my dogs go nuts looking for the birds! The book also has a lot of info on the birds and the artist renditions are wonderful. LOVE THIS BOOK!
Offering an interactive format in audio word as well as written language and visual images October 13, 2008 Midwest Book Review (Oregon, WI USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Any home library strong in field guides probably has more than one bird book; but this is something different, offering an interactive format in audio word as well as written language and visual images. Some seventy unique birds from Eastern North America are featured in a book which offers one-touch buttons of digital audios to pair with descriptions of songs, calls and behaviors. Home birders who want to identify by more than pictures will find this an easy, appealing guide with a difference. Diane C. Donovan California Bookwatch
Out Yard Birdsong Book October 11, 2008 Catherine J. Roberts (Beavercreek, OH USA) What a great book. It makes it easy to learn the songs of so many birds! My grandkids love it! Just what I hoped it would be, and great service by seller.
