This board book is just right for introducing your little one to the first, and best, Christmas story.

4 out of 5 stars My son loves to read this year round!   July 18, 2008
Wisc Grad CA Girl (Santa Cruz, CA)
It's July, and we're reading this book daily! My 16 mo. old son loves to pull this book off the shelf and have me read it to him. I wish that the last page read: "I am Baby Jesus asleep in the hay and I am the reason for Christmas day". But, other than that, it's a very cute book and my son loves it.

Great book for little ones. I have a 16th month old boy who loves this book and helped us focus on more than just Santa and presents for the holiday season. Lovely pictures and good text make this a reading pleasure for everyone.

5 out of 5 stars Baby's First Christmas Book   October 25, 2007
Henry's Mom (PA)
I puchased this book for my 10 month old son. I wanted something to start reading to him before Christmas that would speak to the meaning of the holiday. It is perfect! The story is short but to the point and is able to keep his interest. Each page speaks to a part of the Christmas Story in rhyme, the donkey, the sheep, sheepards, wisemen etc. The last page has a picture of the Baby Jesus and reads "I am the child asleep in the hay and I am the reason for Christmas day."
