snowman named just bob February 8, 2008 Nancy L. Macdougall (new hampshire) It is a beautiful story with beautiful illustrations, but a little old for my preschoolers
A Great Book October 15, 2007 Amber T. Kingston (Newport Beach, CA.) This book is absolutely wonderful and one of my favorite children's books. The story is charming and heartwarmimg and the illustrations are whimsical and unique. It actually inspired me while writing my own book, Laura and the Leprechauns. I bought two copies and gave one as a gift and kept one for myself. You won't be disapointed by A Snowman Named Bob! Amber T. Kingston Laura and the Leprechauns
My Husband Bob January 2, 2007 Brenda D. Himmelhaver (Port Charlotte, FL) 0 out of 5 found this review helpful
My 46 year old husband, Bob, died suddenly the day after Thanksgiving, 2006. I had purchased this "Bob" book several years ago for him and he got misty-eyed when he read it. At the funeral home, I displayed the book with the last page showing that "Bob is always near." Both family and friends loved it so much, many of them have purchased the same book. I am buying 3 more books for our grandkids and will write a little note in it so they know how much Grandpa loved them and will always be around for them.
Excellent message! June 20, 2003 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
What a wonderfully written, beautiful story! I love it more and more each time I read it!
Beutifully written story for all ages. June 20, 2003 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I was given "A Snowman Named Just Bob" as a present last Thanksgiving and was so touched by the beautiful message of how simple friendship is to start that I bought 15 more for Christmas presents for family and friends! The story is heartwarming and the illustrations are beautiful. I have since purchased 4 more of author Moulton's titles and each is as delightful as the other. I intend to buy every book Mark Kimball Moulton writes!
